Zippy Lemon Cream Fettucine

"Laughter is brightest where food is best." So, try whipping up this fettucine recipe for your loved ones and let its zippy, tangy, creamy goodness get them beaming in no time!

Ingredients:

2 tbsp
butter
1
large white onion, minced
2
large egg yolks
4 tsp
lemon zest, finely grated
1-2 tbsp
fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup
Parmesan cheese, grated
1 sachet
8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
2-3 tsp
freshly ground pepper
450g
fettuccine, cooked al dente

Procedure:


  1. Melt butter in a sauté pan. Add onions and cook for about 3 minutes.

  2. In a bowl, combine NESTLÉ® ALL PURPOSE CREAM, egg yolks, lemon zest, and fresh lemon juice. Lower heat and add cream mixture and Parmesan cheese to the pan. Cook, whisking until slightly thickened. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP and freshly ground pepper. 

  3. Add cooked pasta and toss well. Pour some of the pasta liquid to loosen the sauce.
