Cream Drop Cream Drop

Ingredients

2 cups tightly-packed spinach
4 chicken breast fillets, pounded until thin
4 slices bacon
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp chili flakes
no measurement salt and pepper
no measurement water for boiling

Steps

VIEW WITHOUT STEPS

  • STEP 1

    Cook the spinach in salted boiling water for 1 minute. Refresh the leaves in iced water. Drain and then chop finely.

  • STEP 2

    Roll chicken wrapped with bacon to form a log. Dredge each log with flour, season with salt and pepper. Shake off the excess flour.

  • STEP 3

    Fry up the chicken fillets in olive oil until golden brown and cooked, about 1-2 minutes each side. Remove from heat and set aside to rest.

  • STEP 4

    In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add in nutmeg, chili flakes and NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM. Simmer for 2 minutes and add in chopped spinach. Simmer for 1 more minute.

  • STEP 5

    Serve saltimbocca fillets with cream sauce on top.
