Ingredients

MAIN DISH

3/4 cup condensed milk
2 cups malagkit rice (glutinous rice), soaked for 20 minutes
1 cup water

For Topping:

2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup brown sugar

Steps

VIEW WITHOUT STEPS

  • Prep Time 1 hour 20 minutes
  • STEP 1

    In a pan, combine NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM and condensed milk. Cook drained malagkit rice in the pan, adding water if necessary. When malagkit rice is cooked and fluffy, remove from pan and transfer into a large rectangular baking pan lined with slightly greased foil.

  • STEP 2

    To prepare topping, heat butter and blend in the flour. Pour in NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM and condensed milk. Add brown sugar and stir occasionally until mixture thickens.

  • STEP 3

    Pour prepared topping onto the prepared rice. Bake uncovered in a pre-heated 350°F oven for 30-45 minutes or until topping turns golden brown.

  • STEP 4

    Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
