Extra Loving One-Bowl Bread Pudding

Breathe new life to your pandesal with this recipe, and end up with this scrumptious dessert!

Serving Size: 10-12 servings

Equipment Needed:

Ingredients:

8-10 pcs regular-sized pandesal (preferably day-old)
3 eggs
1 cup NESTLÉ® Fresh Milk
1 pack NESTLÉ® ALL PURPOSE CREAM 250ml
3/4 cup brown sugar
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
Raisins or toasted nuts, optional
Vanilla sauce:
Combine the following and heat without boiling:
1 cup NESTLÉ® ALL PURPOSE CREAM 250ml
1/2 cup condensed milk (or to taste)
1/8 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation:

  1. Tear pandesal into small pieces. Arrange at the bottom of a round or rectangular glass pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except raisins and nuts. Whisk until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour over bread pieces. Add raisins and/or chopped nuts if desired.
  4. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 30 minutes. Allow to cool before serving with vanilla sauce on the side.
