Embutido con Pandesal

Add a fun twist to a classic ulam with this Embutido con Pandesal! Makes for a great snack or baon!

Ingredients:

1 roll
prepared embutido
6-8 pieces
pandesal, toasted
1 small
iceberg lettuce, torn into pieces
2
tomatoes, sliced into rounds
1 small
red onion, sliced into rounds

For white sauce:

½ cup
butter
½ cup
flour
½ cup
NESTLÉ FRESH
1 tsp
8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
1 tsp
sugar or to taste

Procedure:


  1. Slice embutido into 8 equal rounds. Set aside together with the other sandwich ingredients.

  2. Prepare white sauce by combining butter and flour in a saucepan. Cook until a thick consistency have been formed.

  3. Thin mixture by adding NESTLÉ FRESH slowly while whisking vigorously to dissolve lumps.

  4. Slowly pour in NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP and sugar to taste.

  5. Assemble sandwich by putting lettuce on one side of the sliced pandesal, top with 2 slices embutido, tomato and onion slices. Drizzle with prepared white sauce and serve immediately with hot MILO or a cup of NESCAFÉ.
