Dreamy Roast Beef with Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Juicy, savory slabs of beef drenched with plump mushrooms marbled in creamy sauce...Mmm!
|1 1/2 kg||beef shoulder (kalitiran), whole|
|1/4 cup||MAGGI® Oyster Sauce|
|1/2 cup||soy sauce|
|1 sachet||8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®|
|Creamy Mushroom Sauce:|
|2 tbsp||olive oil|
|1 cup||sliced button mushrooms|
|2 tbsp||garlic, minced|
|1 cup||broth from tenderized beef|
|1 sachet||MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®|
|1 pack||NESTLÉ® ALL PURPOSE CREAM 250ml|
- Rub the beef with MAGGI Oyster Sauce, salt, and pepper. Leave to marinate for at least 15 minutes. Boil beef in water, soy sauce, and MAGGI MAGIC SARAP for 2 hours or until tender adding more water if necessary. When cooked, remove beef from broth and set aside to rest.
- Prepare Creamy Mushroom Sauce: Heat olive oil, stir-fry mushrooms for 1 minute. Remove from pan and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté garlic in olive oil until light brown. Add flour and mix into the garlic to form a paste. Continue to cook until caramel brown in color.
- Pour in broth while continuously stirring. Add MAGGI MAGIC SARAP. Simmer until slightly thick.
- Remove from heat, slowly add NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM. Stir well until fully incorporated into the sauce.
