Creamy Shrimp Pasta Swirls

This dish has flavors of cream and shrimp swimming in a bed of pasta…absolutely delightful! 

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Serving Size: 6-8 servings

Equipment Needed:

Ingredients:

200g suahe (white shrimps), peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
2-3 tsp bagoong alamang (optional)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 800 ml can crushed tomatoes
¼ cup basil leaves, chopped
½ cup Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp black olive slices
300 g linguine,cooked according to package instructions
½ pack NESTLÉ® ALL PURPOSE CREAM 250ml
Salt, pepper and sugar to taste

Preparation:

  1. In a sauce pan, sauté shrimps in olive oil until half cooked. Set aside.
  2. In the same pan, sauté bagoong and garlic until fragrant. Add in crushed tomatoes and half the basil. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add in half the parmesan cheese and all of the olives and mix well. Add in the cooked pasta, prepared shrimps and NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM. Mix well.
  4. Serve the pasta with the remaining parmesan and basil as garnish.
