This dish has flavors of cream and shrimp swimming in a bed of pasta…absolutely delightful!
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 6-8 servings
|200g||suahe (white shrimps), peeled and deveined|
|2 tbsp||olive oil|
|2-3 tsp||bagoong alamang (optional)|
|2 cloves||garlic, minced|
|1 800 ml||can crushed tomatoes|
|¼ cup||basil leaves, chopped|
|½ cup||Parmesan cheese|
|2 tbsp||black olive slices|
|300 g||linguine,cooked according to package instructions|
|½ pack||NESTLÉ® ALL PURPOSE CREAM 250ml|
|Salt, pepper and sugar to taste|
- In a sauce pan, sauté shrimps in olive oil until half cooked. Set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté bagoong and garlic until fragrant. Add in crushed tomatoes and half the basil. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add in half the parmesan cheese and all of the olives and mix well. Add in the cooked pasta, prepared shrimps and NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM. Mix well.
- Serve the pasta with the remaining parmesan and basil as garnish.
