Light up the grill, light up their faces by creating this grilled chicken recipe! It's perfect for sunny Sunday cookouts or nights in at home with the family!
|1 whole||chicken, quartered|
|¼ cup||grated ginger|
|2 sachets||8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®|
|1 pack||NESTLÉ® ALL PURPOSE CREAM 250ml|
|3 pcs||siling labuyo, sliced|
|1 stalk||lemongrass, chopped (white part only)|
|1 cup||kangkong cut-ups|
- Rub chicken with ginger and 1 pack of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP. Set it aside to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Boil the marinated chicken then simmer over low heat in NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM, remaining MAGGI MAGIC SARAP, siling labuyo, and lemongrass for about 30 minutes until tender. When the chicken is tender, discard the lemongrass.
- Add kangkong and continue simmering for another minute. When the chicken is cold enough to handle, drizzle it with 2-3 tbsp of its broth and wrap in banana leaves.
- Grill over charcoal or an electric griller for at least 5 minutes on both sides. Serve hot in banana leaves.
