Ingredients

½ kg pork cheeks
½ kg pork intestine, rinsed well
2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 thumb-size ginger, cut into strips
1 pc onion, chopped
1 pc finger chili
1 pc bay leaf
¼ cup vinegar
2 cups water
1 cup fresh pork blood
2 sachets 8g MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®
1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
1 tsp brown sugar

Steps

VIEW WITHOUT STEPS

  • STEP 1

    Simmer pork and intestine in water for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse well. Cut into serving pieces. (10mins)

  • STEP 2

    Sauté garlic, ginger, onion and chili in oil. Add bay leaf, vinegar, pork cheeks and intestines. Pour water to barely cover the pork. Cover and simmer until tender. (1hour)

  • STEP 3

    Stir in pork blood and cook until slightly thick. Simmer for 5 minutes. (5mins)

  • STEP 4

    Season with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®, pepper and sugar. Stir in Nestle All Purpose Cream. Transfer into a serving plate. (5mins)
