Ingredients

2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 thumb-size ginger, cut into strips
1 pc onion, cut into wedges
1 pc green finger chili
½ kg chicken leg quarter, cut into pieces
4 cups water
2 sachets 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
2 cups biased green papaya or sayote
1 bundle chili tops, picked

Steps

VIEW WITHOUT STEPS

  • Prep Time 20mins
  • Cooking Time Cook Time 45mins
  • STEP 1

    Sauté garlic, ginger, onion and finger chili in oil. (10mins)

  • STEP 2

    Add chicken and cook for 5 minutes. (5mins) 

  • STEP 3

    Pour water, bring to a boil, skim the scum and simmer for 15 minutes. (20mins)

  • STEP 4

    Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®. Add papaya and simmer for another 5 minutes.

  • STEP 5

    Stir in NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream chili tops. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
