Ingredients

½ kg beef camto, cut into cubes or serving pieces
1 cup pineapple juice
2 cups water (or as needed)
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
2 tbsp cooking oil
2 tbsp chopped garlic
1 onion, sliced
½ cup tomato sauce
1 85g can liver spread
2 tbsp pickle relish
1 sachet 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP ®
1 tbsp sugar
2-3 pieces siling labuyo, chopped
¼ cup grated cheese

Steps

VIEW WITHOUT STEPS

  • STEP 1

    Tenderize beef in pineapple juice, water, salt and pepper. Allow to boil then simmer over low heat for at least 1 hour 45 minutes. When tender, drain and set aside. Reserve the broth.

  • STEP 2

    Heat cooking oil. Sauté garlic and onions until fragrant.

  • STEP 3

    Stir in tenderized beef. Add tomato sauce and the reserved broth. Continue simmering until slightly thickened.

  • STEP 4

    Add liver spread and pickles. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®, sugar and siling labuyo. Add NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM and turn off the heat.

  • STEP 5

    Add grated cheese and stir until melted.
