Ingredients

Filling

1 bar cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups powdered sugar

Cake

6 pcs egg
1 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cups + 2 tbsp all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ cup cocoa powder
½ tsp fine salt
3 tbsp powdered sugar

Steps

VIEW WITHOUT STEPS

  • STEP 1

    Prepare filling by mixing cream cheese, Nestle All Purpose Cream, vanilla and powdered sugar. Whisk until light and smooth. Set aside.

  • STEP 2

    For the cake, whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and sugar until light and smooth. Whisk in Nestle All Purpose Cream.

  • STEP 3

    Sift the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt in a bowl. Mix in with the wet ingredients until just combined. Do not over mix.

  • STEP 4

    Greased a sheet pan and line with parchment paper. Pour the cake mixture and bake in a 320ᵒF preheated oven for 10 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean when inserter in the middle of the cake. Set aside for 5 minutes.

  • STEP 5

    While still warm, sprinkle 3 tbsp of powdered sugar on top of the cake. Roll while peeling off the parchment paper. Set aside for 5 minutes. This to make rolling later easier when filling is applied.

  • STEP 6

    Unroll the cake, spread the filling and roll again into a log. Refrigerate for 1 hour before slicing and serving.
