Ingredients

Apples

2 tbsp butter
2 pcs green apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp brown sugar

Caramel Sauce

¼ cup butter
½ cup brown sugar
1 pack NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream 125ml
¼ cup water

Dough

1 ½ cups all purpose flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
4 tbsp butter, cut into small cubes
1 pack NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream 125ml

Steps

VIEW WITHOUT STEPS

  • STEP 1

    Combine butter, apple, cinnamon, and sugar in a pan. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.

  • STEP 2

    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda into a large mixing bowl. Cut in butter in the mixture until wet sand texture is achieved. 

  • STEP 3

    Pour NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream and cooked apple mixture. Mix until just combined.

  • STEP 4

    Flatten on a board until 1-inch thick and cut into desired shapes. Place cookies on a sheet tray and bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the cookie. Set aside to cool completely.

  • STEP 5

    For the Caramel Sauce, mix butter, brown sugar, NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, and water in a pan. Cook over low heat until smooth. Set aside to cool. Serve with Scones.
